About this app
A crowdsourced map of fruit trees, berry brambles and nut trees you can pick from around Seattle. Anyone can add a spot or say how ripe it is, and none of it is verified.
What it covers
Seattle, and roughly the land between Puget Sound and the Cascade foothills. The map is built from an open dataset of that area.

Where the data comes from
Spot data comes from Falling Fruit, an open, collaborative map of the urban harvest, licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Individual records keep their original author and source attributions. Contributions made here are released under the same license. This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Falling Fruit.
Some spots come from iNaturalist observations whose observers licensed them for reuse. Those are licensed one record at a time rather than as a set, so each one carries its observer’s name and its own license on the spot itself.
The rest comes from people using the app: the spots they add, and the notes and photos they leave. Those are first-hand accounts, not checked listings.
